We are a full service, women-owned boutique event planning company. At Blue Vines, we know how to tell a story. We’ve done it for years. Appreciating and understanding the importance of bringing your unique narrative to life. Determining the right event strategy and design drives the meaning and momentum that culminate in a truly successful occasion.
Experienced? Yea, we are!
Together, we have over 25 years’ experience in event planning. We have helped plan events for large corporations, small businesses and even intimate Christmas party gatherings. We believe that when you share your vision for an event, your hopes and dreams, our job is to tell your event story.
Marne Harding is co-founder and co-owner of Blue Vines Events and Marketing. No matter where she goes, business or socially, Marne connects with people making her the easiest person to talk to in the room. Her passion for people and fostering relationships led her and her business partner to create an event planning company that believes people matter. People matter to building a business, to building a career and building oneself. And what better way to do that with connecting people at live events.
Marne believes in the power of live events and that they are critical to any company’s marketing mix. From Finland to Hawaii, she has experienced first-hand the success face-to-face events have on her clients’ business. Engagement, networking, deal-making, brand enhancement and dedicated clients can be generated at live events.
As a complement to live events, Marne is an experienced digital and social marketer. Throughout her career, she has worked with Fortune 500 companies creating brand strategies, event marketing and management. But her passion is nonprofit work. Her works include helping single mothers and women starting their own businesses. She also loves her husband, kids, dogs and EVERY horse she sees.
Marla Halley is co-founder and co-owner of Blue Vines Events and Marketing. She is a passionate storyteller and loves nothing more than to sit with friends and family swapping tales about good times and experiences, her work, her husband, kids and their Carolina dog, Roxie.
That love of storytelling led Marla and her business partner to create an event planning company dedicated to the simple truth that ‘Every Event has a Story to Tell.’ Marla believes human beings were wired for and crave personal, human interactions. Businesses can get tangled in their love for technology and miss the basic human connection with their customers as part of their marketing mix. Creating face to face opportunities, through live events, can boost a brand, create connection, engagement and dedicated clients.
Years of creative agency life honed her specialties that include marketing strategy, event planning and management and the importance of client service. Her accomplishments include event planning for international corporations with attendees from 400 to 4,000.
